The last time Supreme Council was held in Saskatoon was in 1992 under the chairmanship of Ill. Bro R. Neil Matheson, 33rd. Ill. Bro Matheson is our Honourary Chairman for the 2022 session of Supreme Council, and we continue to count on his sage advice. Ill. Bro W. R. (Rick) Brunsdon is our 2022 Chairman, who is well experienced in chairing events of this nature.<\/p>\n

Come early, stay late! You will find that Saskatoon is a very beautiful city and is regularly called the \u201cCity of Bridges\u201d. We have many art and cultural venues for you to visit. These include Remai Modern, a world class art museum.<\/p>\n

Another venue to visit is the Canadian Light source, commonly called the \u201cBig Flashlight\u201d, a modern scientific marvel located on the grounds of the University of Saskatchewan. Not to mention the many fine restaurants and stores that you are sure to enjoy in Saskatoon.<\/p>\n

The Saturday afternoon Valley event is to be held at the Western Development Museum which is chock full of history including old cars, farm machinery, trains and planes. WDM includes Boomtown, a re-creation of an old street and numerous storefronts. I suggest, bring your camera.<\/p>\n

For those of you who are driving and will be coming through Regina, do not miss this opportunity to visit the RCMP Heritage Centre, the Saskatchewan Science Centre, and the Royal Saskatchewan Museum to name a few.<\/p>\n

Finally, for all the golfers out there, I could name many courses, but two of my favourites are Elk Ridge (27 holes, 3-9\u2019s) and the scenic Waskesiu Golf Course developed by Stanley Thompson. Both are located in Prince Albert National Park, and are about two hours north of Saskatoon. It is highly recommended that you make a booking early. Both courses provide accommodation and restaurants. You will not be disappointed.<\/p>\n

I know you will enjoy your time in Saskatoon. Come early, stay late! There is a lot to see and do. We are looking forward to being your hosts and hoping that you will enjoy our prairie hospitality and the beauty of the city and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n
